The Marshfield Fair is held every year at the end of August. The fair is organized and hosted by the Marshfield Agricultural and Horticultural Society and it lasts about 10 days and it features all kinds of fun activities. During its run, the fair starts every day at noon and ends at 10 pm. There is a lot of entertainment, music, exhibits, arts and crafts, 4-H, and many agricultural and horticultural events. Attendees enjoy many types of games and rides and many other fun activities. There is plenty of food and lots of fun for the whole family. There are special events throughout the fair for residents, seniors, and kids. The 152nd Marshfield Fair was held on August 16 – 25, 2019 and this year’s fair, which will be The 153rd Marshfield Fair, will be held on August 21 – 30, 2020.
The Levitate Music & Arts Festival is a 3-day event for celebrating music and arts in Marshfield MA. It is organized by Levitate, a community-oriented surf/skate shop and apparel line operating in Marshfield, MA. The event is held at the Marshfield Fairgrounds in Marshfield MA. The first event was held in 2013, which means that this will be the 8th Levitate Music & Arts Festival, which will be held on July 10-12, 2020. The list of performers includes Fruition, Busty and the Bass, Sun Parade, Jack Johnson, Phil Lesh & Friends, Durand Jones & The Indications, Stick Figure, Tash Sultana, Old Crow Medicine Show, Dirty Heads, Trevor Hall, and Goose among many others.
The Spindles Auto Club was founded in 1957 making it one of the oldest continuously operating auto clubs in the country. The club has hosted the annual Spindles Annual Car Show every year since 1979. After holding the show in different venues for several years, the Spindles Annual Car Show was moved to the Marshfield Fairgrounds, Marshfield MA in 1984. It has been held here every year since then. This year’s show will be held on September 6, 2020, starting from 9 am – 4 pm. More than 700 cars are expected in the show. The show features different car makes and models, race cars, music, food, and lots of fun.
